18's Coaches
Jay Golsteyn will be head coach of the 18 Mizuno team. Jay is an associate director with Alliance, and was the director and founder of Impact Volleyball, now part of Alliance. Jay has over 20 years of club coaching experience, has two national championships as a coach in club division, and in 2010, coached the only 16 team in Tennessee history to qualify for open division at nationals.
Jay played at IPFW (team captain two years), where he is a University Hall of Fame Member. He is a two-time All-American Honors winner, as well as a silver medalist in the 1986 USA Olympic Festival.
Haley Wiggins will be the assistant coach for the Molton team. Haley is currently a senior setter for the Trojans at Trevecca Nazarene University. A Franklin, TN native Haley was twice named All-District and All-Tournament team at Franklin High School. This is Haley’s third year coaching club volleyball.

17's Coaches
Tim Miller will be the 17 Mizuno head coach. Tim coached club volleyball for 20 years in the Ohio Valley Region. He coached high school volleyball for 16 years winning 10 conference championships, 6 district championships, 2 regional championships, and 1 state runner-up. Tim played Men's Open/AA Volleyball for 25 years in the USAV adult level.

Erika Godbolt will be head coach of the 17 Molten team. Erika is in her fourth year of coaching club with us. She joined us in 2008 when she was also an assistant coach at TSU. She played at TSU and graduated with a BS in 2007.

16's Coaches
Peter Lienert will be head coach of the 16 Regional team. Peter played for several years in both high school and club volleyball, earning several awards along the way. He has 5 years coaching experience, 2 on the high-school level, 1 year at club, and 3 on the college level as both a player and coach for the men's club team at Grove City College.
Maggie Johnson will be the head coach of the 16 Swiftwick team. Maggie is a junior player and captain on the Belmont University volleyball team, where she has earned all-conference honors. Before coming to Belmont, she competed for the nationally competitive Sports Performance volleyball club. This is Maggie’s second year coaching for Alliance.

Jeff Wismer, Belmont University Assistant Coach, will be the head coach for our 16 Mizuno team. Prior to joining Belmont in 2010, Jeff spent the past season as the top assistant coach and club coordinator at Villanova University. He also served as 2010 Associate Club Director for the Philadelphia Volleyball Academy, which had three teams qualify for Junior Nationals.
Prior to his stint at Villanova, Wismer served as director of recruiting and top assistant coach at two traditional volleyball powers - Taylor University in Upland, Ind. and Eastern University in St. Davids, Pa. Jeff's coaching career began at Gwynedd-Mercy College. All told, Jeff has trained 1 NCAA All-American, 1 NAIA All-American, seven All-Region players and over 100 all-conference honorees. He also has extensive club volleyball experience, including a stint as the head coach of the renowned Asics Munciana 17-1 Volleyball Club. Wismer is a 1997 graduate of Messiah College where he served as team captain for the two Middle Atlantic Conference championship teams.
Adrienne Dotson will be the 16 Molten head coach. Adrienne served as assistant coach at TSU in 2008. She is in her third year coaching club volleyball with us, coached 6 years with Nebraska Elite Volleyball Club and 2 years coaching with Starlings Volleyball Club. Adrienne also coached high school volleyball and track in Nebraska for 5 years.
Adrienne played college volleyball at Albany State University where she was named to the Second Team All-Conference, All Tournament Team, and was a two-time team captain. She also attended University of Nebraska at Omaha where she was a stand-out track and field athlete winning numerous awards.
15's Coaches
Taylor Mott will be head coach of the 15 Mizuno team. Taylor is currently head coach of Flagler College. Click here for more information about Taylor.
Paul McCormack will be head coach of the 15 Molten team. Paul is in his fifth season coaching club volleyball in Tennessee. He started coaching club in Tennessee with Impact VBC in 2008 and this season will mark his second season with Alliance VBC. He is currently is in his second season as a volunteer assistant with the Middle Tennessee State University volleyball team. As an assistant at MT, McCormack helped guide the Blue Raiders to a 29-6 record, winning both the Sun Belt regular season and tournament titles and advancing to the NCAA Tournament. Prior to moving to Tennessee, he served as an Assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Rock County.
McCormack also spent time working with Penn State Women's volleyball team this past summer, and he continues to do clinics throughout the year with his mentor, Olympic Gold Medalist Pat Powers.
As a player, McCormack revived the Middle Tennessee Men's Volleyball Club where he served as president for two years and was voted Captain two years. He helped lead the team to The National Collegiate Club Volleyball Tournament as an Outside Hitter and as a Setter.

Kylee Davis will be coaching the 15 Swiftwick team. She is currently the assistant coach at Centennial High School, as well as head coach of the jv team. The Kansas native has been coaching at the high school and club level for five years. She was a three year starter and a 10-time letter winner in volleyball, basketball and track at Jefferson County North High School. Kylee played in college for two seasons at Emporia State University where she earned her BFA in Communications.
Alyssa Aston will be assistant coach of the 15 Mizuno team. Alyssa played 6 years for Impact Volleyball, and played at Southeast Missouri State. She was named an OVC Medal of Honor winner her senior year. She received many awards at the high school level, as was a two-year team captain. She has had three years coaching experience at the club and high school level.

14's Coaches
Rick Hess will be head coach of the 14 Molten team. Rick is currently the head coach of Ravenwood's Junior Varsity Team. Previously he was head coach of Sunset Middle School for five years, and has also coached at the high school level in Kentucky. Rick attended Western Kentucky University where he played and coached in the men's club league. Rick is in his fifth year coaching with us.
Kate Barnett will be head coach of the 14 Swiftwick team. Kate played as a defensive specialist at Bluffton University, where she received a degree in Sports Management and Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Administation at Belmont University. Kate has had coaching experience at the club level, as well as serving as an assistant coach at Ripon College.
Jenny Gray, the head coach of 14 Mizuno, currently serves as the Varsity Volleyball coach for Harpeth Hall. After receiving 12 varsity letters in high school and being named Johnson County athlete of the year, she received a four-year scholarship to play volleyball at Belmont University. Jenny graduated in May 2010 with a degree in Communication Studies as a member of the Deans List. Throughout her career at Belmont, she was a part of two NCAA tournament appearances in 2006 and 2008. She received Atlantic Sun academic honors from 2007-2009. Jenny was named team captain and earned a spot on the Atlantic Sun tournament team in 2009.
Jen Myer will be coach of the 14 Regional team. Jen played high school volleyball in New Braunfels, TX, where she was named Top 150 by Prep Volleyball. She was also an AAU All American when playing club volleyball with Extec. Jen is currently playing at Belmont University, and is currently ranked as the #1 server in the country in D1 level volleyball.

13's Coaches

Ronda Holmberg will be coaching the 13 Swiftwick team. Ronda played high school and college volleyball in Florida and received a B.S. in Physical Education from Florida State University. She has many years of coaching experience at the high school and middle school levels, and has been coaching with us for several years.
Laura Pierce will be head coach of the 13 Molten team. Laura played volleyball at Tennessee Tech, and played club volleyball with NORCO. She has had coaching experience on the high school level, and club level. This is her second year coaching with Alliance.
Kenzie Young will be coaching the 13 Regional team. Kenzie played high school and club volleyball in Texas where she received multiple awards including defensive player of the year (high school), most dedicated and most assist (club). This is Kenzie’s first year coaching with Alliance.
Jay Umboh will be the head coach of our 13 Mizuno team. Jay has had experience coaching on the college level as First Assistant Coach at both Middle Tennessee State University and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He has had over 15 years of experience as head coach and director of various Junior Olympic Volleyball Programs and camps. Jay played and captained the MTSU collegiate club team, and has played many years in AVA/USAV leagues.
Ashley Raby will be assistant coach of the 13 Molten team, and is in her second year coaching with Alliance. Ashley was a major contributor to her high school team being awarded all district multiple times and mvp. Ashley played club volleyball with Smokey Mountain Juniors. Ashley serves as team manage for Belmont University.
12's Coaches
Tracey Berry will be head coach of the 12 Molten team. Tracey is currently head coach at Ravenwood High School, where she led her team to AAA state runner-up and state championship. She coached at Page High School for 9 years previously where she was A-AA State Champion in 2000-2003. She has coached club volleyball for over 10 years taking several teams to national tournaments. Tracey played at Mott Community College and Eastern Kentucky.
Marcia Thompson will be the assistant coach of the 12 Molten team. Marcia has coached club, middle school and college level volleyball. She was a three year captain of her team at the University of Georgia, where she played as a defensive specialist. During her high school and college years, Marcia received many awards including athlete of the year, MVP, All-County team, etc. After college, Marcia continued playing on USVBA teams in Florida and Minnesota, and competed in Nationals two years.
Marcia was also a successful beach volleyball player, competing on the Women's Professional Beach Volleyball Tour, and Florida's Suncoast Beach Series for several years. Along with placing and winning tournaments, she was named as Beach Volleyball Monthly's Fantastic Top 50.
Hannah Miranda will coach the 12 Swiftwick team. Hannah is currently playing at Belmont University in her sophomore year. As a freshman at Belmont last year, she was named to the All Freshman Conference and was an Academic All Conference player. Hannah played high school and club volleyball in Louisiana, where she was named All-State, Gatorade Player of the Year, and Setter of the Year. Hannah is majoring in Exercise Science.
11's Coaches
Cathy Cram will be coaching our 11 Regional Black team. Cathy played high school and college volleyball in the Phillipines. She was named athlete of the year in high school, and was team captain of her college team at University of the East in Manila. She also served as assistant coach for the team after graduating.
Caroline Pedersen will be head coach of the 11 Regional Teal Team. Caroline played high school volleyball in Chicago, serving as team captain, and was named to the All-Conference and All State Teams. She played basketball at Drake University for four years, and also played volleyball as a starting Middle Blocker her freshman year. Caroline has coached basketball and volleyball to beginning players, and this is her second year coaching 11s for Alliance. She is currently the middle school coach at Brentwood Academy.
10's Coaches
Kathy Slaughter will be coaching our 10 Regional team. This is a new age level for Alliance, and we are excited to have Kathy work with these young girls. Cathy has 17 years coaching experience, and is currently head coach for Independence High School. Cathy played at Cumberland University where she was twice named TACA All Conference Player, awarded team MVP her senior year, named All Scholar athlete for three years, and was inducted to the Cumberland University Athletic Hall of Fame. She later served as Cumberland’s assistant coach for five years.
